Eden One - part 1

The landing barge from Starlight hovered over a clearing, blowing grass and bits of leaves into a frenzy before finally setting down. Lieutenant Commander George Stone was the first to walk out after the barge’s heavy doors hissed open. Stone was sure that the sound of the doors opening was louder than the landing itself.

As he took his first step on the alien soil, he realized that all the data and readouts had only readied him for the mission, and not so much the experience of being the first man on a new world. On the way to the planet he had conjured up fantastic imagery drawn from movies he had watched before. However, from where he stood, on the planet tentatively named Eden One, it looked nothing like how he had imaged.

The first thing that caught Stone by surprise was the sunny climate. Perhaps it was the artificial lighting on the ship that he had grown used to, but the brilliance and the warmth from the sun overhead felt wonderful.

Dr. DeSalle, the ship’s physician, walked up and stood next to Stone and shielded his eyes from the glare above.

“Well, this is how Earth would have looked like if we had saved our forests,” said DeSalle.
“Actually, I was expecting purple trees,” Stone smiled.

The rest of the landing party alighted the barge and joined the two looking at the vast forest that surrounded them. Everyone was silent for a while as they took in the view, everyone including H’loor, one of the twelve T’aal on the ship.

Aside from the sky that was slightly greenish, everything else looked familiar. Stone remembered his trip to the forest dome when he was a child, and although the trees here have different shaped leaves and a little paler than what he had seen, the sight still reminded him of home.

“Alright, we need to split into smaller teams,” said Stone breaking the silence. “H’loor, you’re with me. Doctor, you take Valez and Sparr, you’re with Murel.”

“Check your communication scarabs and remain within contact range,” said Stone as the group paired off. “Set your scanners on high intensity and we meet back here in an hour.”

The party nodded and headed off to cover their sector.

"Come on H'loor," said Stone with a smile. "Let's not keep Eden waiting."

-----------------

In the vacuum of space, the ship carrying over a thousand hopeful humans hung silently over a green planet. Inside Starlight however, it was buzzing with excitement. It was as if everyone had suddenly come alive, found their purpose and was eager to get things moving along. There was lively chatter in the hallways and at every station with a viewscreen crew members were reading intently all the data that was displayed. The atmospheric readings, the ratio of landmass and water, the flora and fauna on the planet; everything seemed to be just perfect.

It had been only two hours since the first landing barge had been deployed, but already the second team was getting ready to move out. Timothy Li was sure that he wouldn't be on a landing party. He wasn't a scientist of any merit and he was just an ensign. That meant if he wanted to get into the action, he could, at most, help analyze the data or samples brought back by the landing teams. That said, there was a way Tim could get himself a spot on a barge, if he really wanted to go. As the Captain's Boy, he had the ear of the most powerful man on board. Although officially his title was personal aide to the Captain, he attended to more than just scheduling the Captain's meetings. Over a hundred years ago, by way of tradition, the duties of the Captain's Boy included giving solace, comfort and pleasure to the captain. Back then, Earth ships just circled the planet to monitor climate change and keeping an eye on enemy nations. These small vessels would be in orbit for months at a time so it became necessary to assign a junior crew member to take care of the officer-in-charge.

Tim understood the logic that as the person in command, the captain had to maintain a certain distance with the rest of the crew. As such, Crew Contacts would be out of the question. The captain had to rely on his aide to provide all the necessary human contact. Tim took his task seriously and he was chosen not only because he had excellent organizational skills but also he had shown himself to be trustworthy and discreet.

Tim curled up in bed and watched Captain Hunt prepare for his landing mission. He liked looking at the Captain engrossed in his work. The man was handsome and Tim allowed himself a moment to just enjoy the sight of him. Tim marveled how the uniform loved his form; showing off his muscular chest, his dark nipples and his powerful thighs. As Hunt paced the room getting ready, Tim watched Hunt's flaccid penis jiggle like stiff jell-o when he moved. Tim had cared for this penis for the past few months, he took great pride in knowing it very well and how to make it surrender its milk. Looking at it now, Tim could still see the bite marks he had left on the shaft two nights ago. The Captain was always pretty intense in bed and Tim was glad he could help ease some of his burdens. Although their sexual chemistry didn't happen overnight, Tim was happy that they've come this far.

“Are you looking at my dick?” came Hunt, startling Tim.

“Wha...? No...” said Tim giving him a sly look.

“You are such a little liar,” said Hunt dropping what he was doing and climbed into bed. In one quick swoop he pinning the younger man's hands down over his head and parted his legs. They started kissing without further talking and soon the Captain's uniform was off his body and on the floor.

“How much time do you have?” said Tim with his eyes closed and feeling Hunt's bristled chin on his neck.

“Don't worry, they won't leave without me,” whispered Hunt into Tim's ear. “Now lift those legs of yours.”
